Jerry Brown Line One Spectra Hollow Core Fishing Line is a spliceable hollow core fishing line. The ability to splice the line allows the angler many options including the ability to insert monofilament leaders into the hollow core to produce a wind on leader free of terminal tackle. In addition, the ability to splice the line negates the need for knots. This is of critical importance because line unions are the weakest points between the angler and the fish. Jerry Brown Hollow Core Spectra is a round braided line, which may also be tied using the Uni-knot system, the San Diego Knot, as well as the Bimini Twist, and the Spider Hitch Knot. Braided line to monofilament unions may be achieved using the loop to loop approach, surgeons knot, or the Uni To Uni line union.

	I recently purchased the Jerry Brown brand as recommended by Louie this websites owner. In the past I had used the spider line and had issues with knots slipping. I have not had this happen one time with the Jerry Brown brand. Thanks Louie for recommending this product.
