the new, thinner braided superlines in a new platform design that is
lighter, faster, and stronger than anything you've ever seen on the

Marquesa is precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum,
and features one of the strongest drag systems ever put into a reel —
stronger, in fact, than many "international-type" reels that are mych
bigger and heavier.
The Marquesa series come in two models types: a
topless model for easy spool access and control, and a model with a top
bar (T) that kite fishermen will especially appreciate. Kite fishermen
will also appreciate the dial that allows custom adjustment of clicker
tension. The top bar models are pefect for challenging sailfish and the
techniques needed to catch them.
Marquesas are the perfect reels for tournament
fishing or stand-up fishing with newer, stronger lines and fishing

New Fin-Nor Marquesa Fishing Reels
After 6 months of personally fishing these reels, I feel confident in recommending the size 30 reels for those who fish for Sailfish, Kingfish, as well as Stripers. These reels are of remarkable quality, and are very well made. Short of impressive, there is no other way to describe them. We fished them this past tournament season and were very pleased with their performance.
All of the Marquesa models follow the same path. I prefer the 30s due to their line capacity and high retrieval rates of 51 inches per crank. These reels are a great alternative for those who prefer a lever drag. The Fin-Nor Offshore 20H is an excellent alternative for those who like the star drag system, while maintaining a high gear ratio for super fast line retrieval.

| | I mave 4 Fin-nor Marquesa 30T reels that I mainly use kite fishing sailfish but they also double for kingfish and bottom fish. Great reel, smooth drag, powerful. I also caught a 220 pound swordfish on a 30T :) |
